The right blade is crucial!
For cutting writings, logos and other things the most manufacturers recommend blades with 45°. You can normally cut all common films (normal films, thin films, flex and flock films, reflective films and films to sandblast) with them.
For an optimal processing of the materials and for long-lasting use it is however recommended to use a blade corresponding to the type of film and to the cut size.
Please observe that also the speed of your cutting-machine should be adapted to the material to be worked on!
The basic rule is: The more pointed a blade is, that means the bigger the angle is, the thicker materials and the more filigree writings you can cut.
30°: for thin films
45°: for normal films
60°: for thicker films (e. g. reflective films, films to sandblast, flock and flex films)
